The Importance of the Problem

A title tag is an essential element of search engine optimization, and its content is often used in the headline of a search result.

If the title tag is empty or missing, search engines find it more difficult to understand the essence of a page and evaluate its relevance to the target keywords. In this case, a search engine might also create its own title for a search result which may be inappropriate and unattractive to users. As a result, the site may lose search traffic.

How to Fix Error

If there is no <title> tag in the source code of a page, check the website settings and enable adding of this tag on website pages.

Create a unique (within the site) title for each page which will concisely describe its content and contain target keywords. It should be brief and informative: the optimal length is from 40 to 70 characters, maximum is up to 140 characters.
