Importance: Low
Error «Min Text/HTML Ratio» Description
Indicates compliant pages with less than 10% ratio (by default) of the text (the 'Content Size' parameter) to HTML (the 'HTML Size' parameter). Note that you can change the default value on the 'Restrictions' tab of crawling settings.
The Importance of the Problem
Search engines may consider pages low-quality, if most of the text on them is a template layout (menu, header, footer), therefore causing lower positions in search.
Also, if a page has much less text than HTML code, this extra code most likely can be reduced as it increases page size and slows its loading. If a page is too heavy and loads long (especially on mobile devices with lower Internet speed), a user may consider the website low-quality and leave it. Such slow pages usually get low search rankings, therefore the the site may lose search traffic.
