Error «Max HTML Size» Description
Indicates compliant pages with more than 200K characters (by default) in the <html> section (including HTML tags). Note that you can change the default value on the 'Restrictions' tab of crawling settings.
The Importance of the Problem
Big pages usually contain extra code which can be reduced.
The code size affects the page load speed. If a page is too heavy and loads long (especially on mobile devices with lower Internet speed), a user may consider the website low-quality and leave it. Such slow pages usually get low search rankings, therefore the site may lose search traffic.
