Hello everyone! In the new version of Site Analyzer 3.1, not only a lot of labor done to eliminate errors as well as new functions have been added also. Let's take a closer look at the details of the new version.
Major Changes
1. The «Source» column
The «Source» column has been added to the «External», «Video» and «Documents» tabs, which displays the first found source for this URL.
2. User-Agent
When importing Sitemap.xml added the ability to specify a User-Agent.
User-Agent Sometimes, due to certain server settings, the Sitemap is given only to Googlebot or Bingbot search bots. Now, to download Sitemap.xml, you can install the User-Agent more quickly than before.
3. Scrolling tabs with the mouse
Added the ability to scroll the tabs of the block with the main data of the project with the mouse. Scrolling tabs with the mouse.
4. Bringing the program to the foreground
Added the option to disable the program's output to the foreground after scanning the project.
5. Checking the uniqueness of the content
The visualization of the uniqueness calculation of the content has been optimized.
A visual display of the progress of calculating the uniqueness level of the pages among themselves has been added to the ProgressBar element.
6. Increasing the limits
The limits in the «Personal» tariff have been increased from 500 to 1000 URLs.
7. Installation program
The installation program obtained the ability to prohibit the cleaning of the current database.
This is convenient when, for some reason, you cannot use the built-in option to update the version directly from the program and update it through the distribution on the site, and at the same time do not want to clear the current database. Or the opposite way you want it to :-)
8. Column «Indexability»
The «Indexability» column has been added, which displays the possibility of indexing the page through accounting rules Robots.txt, Meta robots, X-Robots-Tag.
9. Specifying the location of the database
Added the ability to specify the location of the database file.
Now you can specify the location of the database file in a location other than the program installation folder (the function is available only for the paid version). We will be glad to receive any comments and suggestions on the work and development of the program's functionality.
Other Changes
- Added automatic sorting by HashHTML, Title, Description, H1 fields in the «Duplicates» tab when filtering through the pop-up menu.
- Fixed a bug with loading Title, Description, H1-H6 from the database.
- Fixed the «Bad Paraments or other API misuse» error for pages whih entry causes an exception in the database.
- Corrected incorrect processing of URLs containing the project domain as part of an external domain URL.
- Fixed the incident when processing empty images embedded in HTML code.
- Optimized database queries.
Additional improvements
- Rapid search through the project list.
- Improved page encoding detection when parsing sites.
- Increased the speed of scanning sites, as well as the procedure for recording pages after scanning.
- Clickable links in the «Similarity to other URLs» window on the «Content» tab were added.
- Added clickability for URLs displayed by filters in the «Custom Filters» panel.
- Increased the speed of site scanning being especially noticeable on slow PCs.
- Visualization of content uniqueness calculation has been optimized.
Corrections
- Fixed incorrect counting of TITLE duplicates.
- Rectified incorrect parsing of links like «./?p=2».
- Fixed incorrect parsing of sites using Javascript.
- Corrected activity of the «Exclude URLs» section for external links.
- Fixed disappearance of data in the «Content Type» field when switching projects.
- Fixed incorrect processing of relative URLs for pages with parameters in the URL and an empty BaseHref.
- Fixed bugs with tabs and progress bar in the application icon («Access Violation» errors).
- Freezes when scanning «large» sites rich in images have been fixed.
- Display of the data export menu in the Info panel has been restored.
- The ability to delete projects in «Demo» mode has been restored.
- Fixed not correct checking of page indexing in Google.
- Incorrect parsing of H1-H6 tags has been fixed.
- Fixed incorrect scanner operation when not all available pages of the site were scanned.
- The operation of the «Exclude URL» and «Include URL» sections in program settings has been restored.
- Fixed a program freeze emerging when adding a list of sites from 100 URLs or more.
- Accounting of Javascript files has been restored (files *.js) when parsing sites.
- Fixed a bug where site scanning was not always started.
- Fixed incorrect data filtering for sections of the «Custom Filters» tab.
- Fixed incorrect operation of the «Exclude URL» and «Include URL» settings sections when scanning sites.
- The filters «Internal NoFollow links» and «External NoFollow links» of the «SEO Statistics» tab have been restored.
- Fixed bug occurring when paying with PayPal or Credit card.
- Fixed a problem with displaying duplicate identical URLs.
- Fixed a bug of joining H2-H6 columns with H2-1 columns, etc.
- Pop-up window with registration reminder now appears for all tariffs except the paid one.
- Fixed the «Invalid pointer operation» error occurs when switching between projects after PageSpeed scanning.
Prospects and plans for next version
In the short-term development program we plan to add integration of SiteAnalyzer with Analytics systems Google, Bing, Yandex and Ahrefs, add the possibility of a full rendering of sites using JavaScript, to make the program more stable and also add many other useful add-ons.
